Call for Artists Juried Contest and Exhibition September 15, 2011

Robots: Open Media – $25 1^st Prize

The Harlingen Art Forum and D’Arte Centre Gallery issue a call to all artists for Robots: A Juried Show. All media are welcome, works must have been completed since January 1^st 2010. Works should be Robotic in nature, no sexually explicit or objectionable material. Works must be EXACTLY 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches exclusive of framing. Works must be the original creation of the artist, signed and presentable in exhibition. Unframed works are preferred and will be shown suspended in plastic sleeves provided by the gallery. Entries are due at D’Arte Centre Gallery in Harlingen Texas by September 15^th, 2011. Entries must be accompanied with the attached Entry Form and Jury Fee of $1 per piece. First prize of $25 will be awarded by the judges, other prizes may be awarded as entry fees allow. Works should be for sale, D’Arte Centre Gallery will retain a 30% commission on all sales.
